An HIV-positive man accused of having unprotected sex with women he met on the internet, without telling them he has HIV, has been arrested.
Martin Edward Kraham, 36, of Oklahoma City, was arrested late Thursday afternoon, police Sgt. Jennifer Wardlow said Friday.
"Our patrol officers went out to his residence in northwest Oklahoma City, took him into custody without incident, and booked him into the Oklahoma County Jail," said Wardlow.
Kraham "met at least two women that we know of online through Craigslist and had sexual relations with them, knowing he was HIV-positive," Wardlow said.
According to the arrest warrant, Kraham posted 695 ads on Craigslist between January 2008 and last month, and used Craigslist to solicit couples, men, transsexuals and transvestites.
Kraham was jailed on two counts of knowingly engaging in conduct likely to transmit HIV and two counts of computer crimes, Wardlow said.
An Oklahoma County Sheriff's spokesman said Kraham is being held under a $25,000 bond.
